Not helpful booing us - Broadhurst

Hereford United captain Karl Broadhurst was brave enough to be interviewed after this afternoon's dismal draw with Dagenham and took the opportunity to show his disappointment with sections of the sparse crowd that booed the players off the pitch.

"Supporters were disappointed with the result, booing us off, not particularily helpful booing a team that are struggling," Broadhurst told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"But obviously they pay their money so they are entitled their opinion whether it is right or wrong."

Senior coach John Trewick also spoke about the supporters booing in his BBC H&W interview.

"It's understandable. The supporters are frustrated, the same as the staff, the same as the players.

"They obviously have their opinions as well.

"All we need is a goal. Everybody is aware of that.

"But the more you go on about it, the more you talk about it, the more you demand it, you more you make it an issue, sometimes the harder it gets."
