News Round Up

Crewe have signed Blackpool midfielder Stuart Green on a month long loan. The 27 year old started his career at Newcastle, and once cost Hull £150,000 but has limited first team experience. Striker Tom Pope has signed a new deal at the club after rejecting initial advances. Carlisle have signed full back Michael Liddle from Sunderland on loan. The teenager joins until January.

Yeovil have not given up hope of signing Luke Rodgers, with the player expected to hand in a transfer request at Port Vale if the move does not progress. Colchester have signed Crystal Palace defender Lee Hills on loan. The teenager has played 16 times for the Eagles' first team over the past 18 months, and was an unused sub when the Bulls lost at Selhurst Park. Ishmel Demontagnac has been given a trial by Crystal Palace, but Walsall have stated they will require a fee for the dismissed winger.

Oldham have signed Doncaster striker Darren Byfield on loan for a month. The 32 year old started just three games for Rovers since arriving in the summer, and turned down a number of clubs to go to Boundary Park.
