Murray delighted to be coming to Edgar Street

Wolves goalkeeper Matt Murray has been speaking about his loan move to Hereford United.

"I'm delighted to be going to Hereford. I've played there in a couple of pre-season friendlies and of course there is a Wolves connection with former Wolves manager Graham Turner in charge there.

"He was the gaffer at Molineux when I was a schoolboy here.

"I've taken part in some training ground friendlies this season but there's nothing like playing 90 minutes when three points are at stake.

"I just hope that I can help Hereford while they are helping me.

"And after being out for such a long time it will be a nice feeling on a Friday to be looking forward to a three-o-clock kick-off the next day."

Former goalkeeping coach at Edgar Street Pat Mountain has been helping Murray return to fitness after his cruciate knee ligament injury.

"He has been excellent with me - a good influence when I might have maybe pushed too hard and overdone things," said Murray recently.

Meanwhile mystery still surrounds what has happened to keeper Darren Randolph who was left out of the Bulls squad last Saturday.

Speculation continues that he has returned to Charlton but there is no confirmation from Hereford that this has happened.
