Allen knows his Geography

Robins manager Martin Allen has revealed that Hereford isn't far from Cheltenham.

In his latest interview in advance of tomorrow's game at Edgar Street Allen appears confident his side can get something from the match.

"Any derby game is special and Hereford is not far from here. It's an important game for our players, we're getting stronger, the players are getting fitter and we're starting to get more of a settled team. That is important because it makes things more settled and makes training easier for me - less coaching days and more reminder days - so it's starting to come together," commented Allen.

"It's a good one for the supporters because it's a short trip and hopefully we'll have plenty there. In our last away game at MK Dons I don't think we played that well but this time I'm hoping we'll give the supporters much more to go home with."

Allen has also spoken to the Western Daily Press.

"It is a big match and any derby is very special.

"I am not aware of the rivalry between the two clubs, but this is an important game for our players – in fact I would describe it as THE match."
