In his post match interview Hereford United manager Graham Turner appeared very pleased with the three points.
"Fairly solid first half, we just let them get behind us the once," said Turner
"Second half I thought we played a little bit more, and opened them up. Dis appointing not to have got the second which would have meant we could have all enjoyed more of the game.
"Obviously tense when you're in the position we are in and only one up.
"But I thought we did extremely well and I'm terribly delighted for the players.
"Four points from the last two games, great return for us.
"Two clean sheets, vital if we are going to survive and do anything at this level. It has been a good few days.
"First half we got that shape we had at Brighton which served us well. Slightly different at home when we need to push on a bit more and I felt we did that going down the slope.
"Once the goal went in you could see that little bit of confidence come back. It's pleasing to see."
