News Round Up

Millwall striker Neil Harris will be sidelined for a month with a nerve problem. The veteran has had a sucession of injuries in recent months. The Lions have also extended the loan of goalie Lenny Pidgley to Woking for a further two months. Ex-Bull Mark Beesley will miss the next month for Cambridge after damaging knee ligaments.

Richard O'Kelly has been given a green light by managerial partner Sean O'Driscoll to go for the Grimsby job with O'Driscoll, who has worked with O'Kelly for four years, telling the press: "Richard is 50 years of age and he doesn't need my permission to do anything. He's well thought of at Grimsby and he'll make his own decisions." Conference chiefs have confirmed they are investigating a club over fielding at least one ineligible player. Mansfield have denied rumours that it is them under suspicion.

Former Bulls target Ben Strevens has been accused of getting a little too touchy feely after Chesterfield man Lloyd Kerry was sent off for punching him. Spireites boss Lee Richardson told the press: "There's no argument that Kerry punched Strevens. But Strevens squeezed his knackers - everyone can see that."
