Swindon manager Maurice Malpas has spoken about tomorrow's game at Hereford United.
"We have Hereford watched twice and I am sure they will have taken confidence from a win last weekend," he said as reported on the Swindon official website
"Every game is a battle in League One and that is what we are expecting tomorrow night.
"Those players who go out against Hereford have to go out and perform because we all want another three points for Swindon Town.
"We have to keep on improving because another performance like Tuesday (at Aldershot) would result in a home win for Hereford.
"We have been through the tape from Aldershot and highlighted a number of things to the players. Training has been good this week and the players are looking forward to taking on Hereford. As a team we have to address the goals that we have been losing.
"I would like to see us being tighter at the back because it has to be more difficult for teams to break through. In pre-season we looked defensively solid, but that hasn't continued," he concluded.
Meanwhile the Swindon players are not shaving this month in an effort to raise funds for TacheBack, a fundraiser run by the Everyman Male Cancer Campaign.
Finally Hereford United manager Graham Turner has noted that Swindon had a game last Tuesday whereas the Bulls didn't.
"I suppose in some ways it's been a handicap to them. May be a little bit of advantage to us," said Turner.
He is also hopeful of a higher level of support after the disappointing gate last Saturday when Crewe were the visitors.
"It may attract a different sort of audience on Friday night which can't come on Saturday afternoons.
"It will be an interesting experiment to see how many of our own supporters turn up."
