Ernie Cooksey 1980-2008

It is with much sadness that we note the passing of former Crawley, Oldham, Rochdale, Boston and Grays player Ernie Cooksey.

In these days when footballers are often criticised for "play acting" or simulation, Cooksey will always be remembered as an honest player who loved the game and gave 100% for his team. He played for Boston at Edgar Street as recent as March 2007. Our thoughts go to his family and friends.
