The Bulls are tracking St Mirren forward Stewart Kean, according to a couple of national newspapers.
The 25 year old scored only one goal from 15 starts and 15 sub appearances this season, but was highly rated by St Mirren who paid £35,000 for him from Ayr and he made a good start to his Love Street career with eight in eighteen in his first season. He is out of contract this summer, and is expected to be released.
The official St Mirren site says of him: "A striker with considerable potential, Stewart was a front man on the Junior stage with Craigmark Burntonians when he joined Ayr United in January 2000. His goal grabbing expertise was under Saints scrutiny for some time with Stewart eventually joining up at Love Street in the latter part of 2004."
Meanwhile, former Bulls trialist Alistair John has been released by Stevenage. The pacy winger impressed many but was edged out of a contract by a pushy agent and the appearance of Lionel Ainsworth. He was stabbed shortly after joining Stevenage, and managed only five sub appearances all season.
