News Round Up

Current Bournemouth chairman Jeff Mostyn is heading the only consortium to have made a firm bid for the club. The Administator has accepted the undisclosed seven figure bid and has called a creditors meeting to discuss the offer. Their 3,200 Season Ticket holders are being treated as creditors and can vote on the club's future at the meeting, with creditors totalling £5million.

Darlington have lost forward Kevin Gall after he was recalled to Carlisle due to an injury crisis. The former Yeovil man was subbed after just 30 minutes of his last match at Shrewsbury, and was criticised by manager Dave Penney for his performance. Bradford will lose midfielder Lee Bullock for the rest of the season as he requires hernia surgery.

Shrewsbury have recalled defender Luke Jones from his loan spell at Kidderminster. Notts County have signed winger Wayne Corden from Leyton Orient on loan for the rest of the season. The 32 year old has played in most of the League One side's games this season.

Grays have been rebuffed in their efforts to get the FA to change their mind over the £14,000 owed to jailed player Ashley Sestanovich. Chairman Mick Woodward had hoped a meeting on Monday would pave the way to the authority changing it's mind, but an FA Spokesman told BBC Radio Essex that the matter is not up for discussion and the club will be suspended on Wednesday if they do not pay up.

Torquay are set to announce a vast turnaround in their accounts according to Colin Lee. After recording a £470,000 loss during their relegation season Lee has told reporters that the club has increased turnover by nearly £500,000 this season, taking their total turnover close to £2million.
