Notts County have released striker Hector Sam. The former Walsall and Wrexham forward scored only twice in 24 appearances for the club, and slipped out of the first team frame with the arrival of Danny Crow.

Stockport have lauched a plan to buy their Edgeley Park home. The fan run club has an option to buy the ground linked to their purchase of the club, but need to raise a £1million deposit after securing a mortgage. Their Ground for a Pound pixel sale wants fans to buy pixels on a website for £1 each. Once the money has been raised and the ground purchased a winner will be drawn who will have a stand at the ground named after them.

Grays have been ordered to pay jailed player Ashley Sestanovich around £14,000 in back pay by the FA after they sacked him when he was jailed for eight years. The club are going through seperate action to sue the player for the money back but have to find the money within 14 days or the FA will suspend the club.

Ex-Bull Nicky Law will be staying at Alfreton after Bradford PA accepted he had a contract and withdrew their offer to him. Reds chairman Wayne Bradley told the press: "I do appreciate that Nicky has been very silly and he is very embarrassed about the whole thing."
