Hereford United were on the wrong end of a 7-1 thrashing by Bristol City earlier this afternoon in the friendly at Edgar Street. Lee Trundle scored a hat-trick.
However there were several trialists in the Bulls side.
"It was a good practice match and it has allowed several players to gain some match sharpness," said Gary Johnson, the City manager.
"Hereford put out a side made up of several trialists and we thank them for giving us the opportunity to play in a friendly on a good pitch."
