Wycombe boss Paul Lambert biggest decision will be a change in formation after playing a solitary striker saw them score just twice in the last four games. Seven goal top scorer Scott McGleish has played the lone role, but may be partnered by John Sutton with one of the five man midfield sacrificed. David McCracken (calf), Mike Williamson (knee), Scott Shearer (ankle), and Jamie Young (hamstring) are all long term casualties.
Bulls boss Graham Turner will shuffle his full backs again with Robbie Threlfall back at Anfield for treatment. Trent McClenahan should deputise with Richard Rose still out. Trevor Benjamin is likely to be fit despite limping off on Saturday, but Clint Easton is expected to miss out again.
Best odds: Wycombe 23/17, Bulls 21/10, Draw 9/4. First Scorer: Sutton 6/1, Benjamin, McGleish 13/2, Guinan 8/1, Robinson 13/2.
Meanwhile the Mirror has suggested that Wycombe manager Paul Lambert could be a candidate for the vacant Scotland job.
Lambert, who played 193 games for Celtic, won 40 Scotland caps and also won the European Cup with Borussia Dortmund in 1997, has done well at Wycombe on a low budget.
Later Lambert denied the report.
"It's very flattering to be mentioned, but I've not had any contact with the Scottish F.A. and I've got a job to do here at Wycombe - that's my main priority," he said.
