Mansfield supporters groups have called for a boycott of the club until owner Keith Haslam sells up.
Furious with his decision to reject a deal worth nearly £3million to him, supporters groups Team Mansfield and Stags Fans For Change have called for all fans to boycott home matches, programmes, the club shop, and all activites at the ground until Haslam leaves.
A joint statement from the two groups reads: "We call on all fans to boycott matches at Field Mill until Mr Haslam sells the club, though we do understand that season ticket holders may not join us.
"We call on all fans to refuse to spend any money at the club – in the club shop, at ground concessions, sponsorship etc. Cutting off all income streams to the club is the only language that Mr Haslam seems to understand and now this is the only resort left open to us.
"We still fully support the manager Billy Dearden and the players, but this short-term pain will be for the long-term gain of the club."
The club's attendances have already been falling this season. Tuesday's match with well Bradford was watched by just 2,308 - 500 less than their previous League match (a 5-0 win), and 1,000 less than their opening game of the season.
Meanwhile, the ink is dry on the deal for the takeover of Northwich. New owner Jim Rushe plans to sit down immediately with caretaker boss Dino Maamria to thrash out a permanent deal.
