Coventry have until 4pm today to agree a takeover deal or the club will sink to the bottom of the Championship as they enter Administration. The club have £38million of debt, with negotiations with creditors proving difficult.

Exeter are hoping for a January windfall to boost their flagging play-off attempts. Crewe defender Danny Woodards left St James Park last year for £30,000 plus a 20% sell-on. Sunderland are now tracking the defender with a seven-figure price tag suggested.
Stockport have signed Irish midfielder Leon McSweeney. The 23 year old Cork City player will join the club on January 1st when the transfer window opens, and previously played in England as a trainee with Leicester before moving to Ilkeston and Hednesford.
