Bradford have been barred from playing new signing Willy Topp after the Football League rejected the copy of the contract sent to them. Bradford say there are two words in the contract that need to be changed. MK Dons defender Gareth Edds will miss four months after ankle surgery.

Notts County have denied press reports that they are in negotiation to groundshare with Nottm Forest at a new stadium being planned by Forest. The Magpies have also admitted that their plans for the January transfer window have been decimated by their loss in the FA Cup. Ex-Bull Neil Grayson is one of the two caretaker managers at Stafford Rangers.

The ever informative Altrincham website informs that ex-Bull Chris Lane is working for a college on The Wirral rehabilitating youths with ASBOs through sport. Boston are planning a full-time comeback for next season after they dropped to part-time status in the summer.

Mansfield's takeover is still going nowhere, with claims and counter claims sending the two parties round in circles. Owner Keith Haslam wants a higher offer for the club, but the only bidder on the table is refusing to budge with Haslam denying that meetings - claimed to be arranged by chairman James Derry - are to take place.
