Lincoln defender Gary Croft has admitted the handball that made the Imps' task that much more difficult on Saturday.
Speaking to the Lincolnshire Echo, Croft said: "It was handball. I was on the line. Their player tried to slide it down the side of me and as it went past, I just hit it with my left hand and onto the post.
"It was one of those instinctive things. I could see it rolling in the goal and I didn't have time to think about it. When I saw the linesman on that side, I thought 'that's it, he probably going to send me off'. I couldn't really have any complaints. It would have been a big enough punishment to get sent off, but the penalty made it a double blow."
