The bid on the table for Chester City is worth £2million, according to press reports.
Sport 6, a group backed by venture capitalists, have been confirmed as bidders by the club after a post on Devachat by ex-director Paul Baker. Baker's post claimed their deal was worth just £1.2million less the debt at the club. The head of Sport 6, Alistair Saverimutto, declined to comment to the press.
Saverimutto is a former commercial manager at Everton, Director of Rugby at New Brighton and a former international rugby player who has been operating as an agent for rugby players.
Baker and Stephen Vaughan met for secretive talks yesterday. Baker's post claimed that they had already done a deal on the club and that a down payment had already changed hands, but press reports are claiming that he is one of three interested bidders in the club.
