Jim Smith has resigned as manager at Oxford, with coach Darren Patterson replacing him. The Bald Eagle, with 35 years as a manager, will remain a Director at the club. Patterson's first act is to sign Darlington defender Pat Collins on loan for a month.
Notts County have signed Birmingham's 17 year old defender Krystian Pearce. The England u-19 international is yet to make the first team at St Andrews. Stockport have signed midfielder Adam Nowland on loan from Preston for a month. Macclesfield have signed Chester defender Sean Hessey on a two month loan.
