A new book on Hereford United is released this weekend, written by lifelong Bulls fan Mitch Stansbury.
With a foreword by Ricky George, who says it is....'engaging and funny, nostalgic and very well written', the book chronicles the good, the bad, the ugly, and the sometimes downright hilarious times enjoyed and endured during our nine-year stint in the Conference.
It is an entertaining and easy read, and an ideal stocking-filler for all Bulls fans.
The book will be available in Off The Wall, St. Owens Street, from Saturday(24th) Hereford Waterstones from Monday, also on Amazon.co.uk.
Unfortunately Hereford United have decided not to stock the book.
Meanwhile Bulls News's Ex-Landlord has read the book. Here's his short review:
I've been fortunate to read a pre-release copy and would recommend it to all Bulls fans. Wonderful humour and full of tales about following HUFC around the grounds of the UK. It's not just an account of games, it tells of tumbledown grandstands, stewards good and bad, Mexican supporters, critical stories of food outlets and plenty more to keep you reading from start to finish. A 100% must have.
