Graham Turner has admitted that his gamble to continue with ten men whilst Trent McClenahan was having treatment for a head wound didn't pay off.
McClenahan had to leave the field for several minutes at Peterborough last Saturday. In that time Posh scored their only goal of the game.
"Peterborough provided a stiff test but we came through it well," said Turner as reported by Sky.
"It was a cruel blow to concede when we were down to 10 men. I got the message back that Trent was being stitched-up by the doctor and decided to gamble, but unfortunately it didn't pay off.
"However, we rallied well to come back level courtesy of a very good strike.
"We always try to avoid suffering back-to-back defeats and we have managed to do it again."
