Lincoln have named Peter Jackson as their new manager on an 18 month contract.
The Huddersfield legend, 46, takes over a side without a win in 10 league matches that have yeilded just three points. They slipped into the relegation spots at the weekend after a loss at Brentford.
Jackson left Huddersfield in March after taking them into League One. He was a player for 150 games at the club and managed them, in two seperate spells over the last 10 years, for nearly 300 games but has not managed anyone else. He was one of the victorious managers during the Imps' successive play-off failures.
