News Round Up

MK Dons have sold striker Izale McLeod to Charlton for an initial £1.1million. The 22 year old scored 24 times last season to be named the League Two player of the year. Lincoln have signed striker Ben Wright from Norwegian side IK Start. The 27 year old has spent five years in Norwegian football after making just two sub appearances for Bristol City.

It is being reported on the Crawley forum that a new company, called Crawley Town Promotions, has been set up with a registered office in Boston and Directors that were involved in Boston United. The company was set up one week after Steve Evans was appointed as manager.

Stockport have added Leicester keeper Conrad Logan and Liverpool defender James Smith on loan. Logan, who played for Leicester at Edgar Street in the Carling Cup last season, signs for the season while Smith joins for a month. Bradford have signed strikers Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu and Alex Rhodes. Ndumbu-Nsungu joins from Gillingham on loan until January, while Rhodes joins until January on contract after rejecting terms at Brentford.
