Goalkeeper Glyn Thompson has signed for Newport County following his Edgar Street release.
The 26 year old managed just one senior appearance, in a JPT match with former club Shrewsbury, during an injury hit single season at Edgar Street. In a Newport press release, it notes that Thompson rejected an offer to stay for a further year in order to seek first team football.
Just two of last season's released players, Simon Travis and Martyn Giles, are yet to agree terms with new clubs.
