Tim Sills has been linked to a return to Aldershot, according to the Aldershot News and Mail.
Graham Turner, in his most recent interview with the official site, refused to rule out movement within the few contracted players left with the Bulls, and Aldershot are now believed to be ready to take the unfortunate forward back to the home of his greatest triumphs if a deal can be worked out over his League wages.
Sills, who has scored just three goals in 56 appearances for Football League sides, averaged nearly a goal every other game for the Conference team - and is believed to relish a return to the Aldershot area after spending some of the last season travelling from Surrey to complete his commitments to the club.
Rushden and Stevenage are also interested in the prolific Conference scorer, who is expected to choose a destination next week. Aldershot assistant manager Martin Kuhl told the paper: "We have have spoken to Hereford about Tim and we're interested in taking him back"
The paper also quotes Sills on the move: "The time I spent at Aldershot was such a good period of my life and my career progressed so much there- I have really fond memories of the club. As a result of that , it would be silly not to be interested but unless something concrete happens then I'll just have to wait and see."
