Torquay Sold To Lee?

The BBC are reporting that Leroy Rosenior was sacked as Torquay manager just ten minutes after officially taking over.

Director of Football Colin Lee is now believed to be behind a takeover of the club that will see him reinstated as manager, with Rosenior serving the shortest ever period as manager ever seen at a professional club.

Torquay had earlier announced Cris Boyce as the leader of the consortium to take Mike Bateson's 51% majority shareholding but, within six hours of the announcement, Rosenior was reported to have been forced out with the BBC reporting that Lee had taken over the club in a move that echoed Graham Turner's purchase of the Bulls nearly ten years ago.

Update: Director Debbie Hancox, daughter of Mike Bateson, has denied that Rosenior has been dismissed but he has told BBC News 24 that, as far as he is concerned, he is no longer at the club.
