Rushden have confirmed their intention to sign Phil Gulliver, subject to a medical.
The medical is believed to only be a formality with Gulliver expected to sign early next week along with Exeter midfielder Jon Challinor, who was widely believed to be heading for a League Two club. Challinor is also a former Diamonds player, having started his career there as a trainee before slipping down the non-league ladder.
