Post match comments from Turner and Money

After this afternoon's match at the impressive Bescot Stadium, both managers spoke to the press.

"I thought that we had a real go," commented Graham Turner, the Hereford United manager.

"The game hanged on the referee's decision with the sending off. I thought that it was Trevor Benjamin who committed the foul in the first place and then to rub salt in the wounds, our lad gets sent off.

"I also thought that we should have had a penalty, but you get that from referee's and decisions like that are not going for us at the moment."

Richard Money, the Walsall manager, said:

"It's not the games where you play flowing football and win comfortably that get you where you want to go, it's games like today.

"We had a spell about ten games ago where nothing would go for us, but they say what goes around, comes around and we've had the rub of the green.

"We weren't at our best, but we had a lot of chances. Hereford came here and played really well, but for us at this stage of the season it is all about picking up maximum points and we have managed to do that.

"We've set a new record for clean sheets, which is some achievement because we haven't really had a settled back four. Clayton Ince will take most of the plaudits, but it is a team effort."

Meanwhile John Trewick told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he thought the Bulls had 'deserved a point, arguably more.'

"Today we got it down, we did alright with the ball, passed it pretty well then we've lost to a baffling decision, absolutely crazy."
