Ex-Bulls Watch

Gavin Mahon scored his first Premiership goal to give Watford a lifeline as they beat Portsmouth 4-2. Ryan Green will start for Bristol Rovers' reserves tonight in a bid to regain fitness as they look to sneak into the play-offs.

John Grant bagged his 20th goal of the season as Aldershot beat Stafford yesterday. Danny Carey-Bertram scored for Forest Green on Saturday, while Mark Beesley bagged one for the Gumpers yesterday as they left the Easter programme with two draws. Tony James saw his Weymouth side thumped for the third time in four games as they lost to Oxford 4-1, with Chris Hargreaves amongst the scorers.

Jon Wallis scored for Dover last week in their League Cup final, but couldn't stop the side losing 4-1. Gareth Sheldon was booked for 'deliberately tripping or playing an opponents legs', which is a two point offence (apparently), as Halesowen beat Merthyr Tydfil by a single goal.
