Players look to earn new contracts

Few Hereford United players have contracts beyond the end of this season, so although the Bulls have little to play for as regards the League, many of their players will be hoping that they can string a few good performances together.

"Most of us are on one-year contracts and will be aiming to prove we deserve offers of extensions," Rob Purdie told the Western Daily Press.

"We've drifted further away from the play-off positions but we still believe we have the ability to put a good run together.

"Whether we do that or not, we've still got Swindon, MK Dons and Walsall to play and we will be doing our best to show we are a match for them."
