In League Two, Michael Rose provided one goal from a free kick but also conceded a free kick that cost them a goal as Stockport drew 3-3 with Hartlepool. Chris Mackenzie helped Shrewsbury extend their unbeaten run to 11 games after a 2-1 win over Peterboro.
In the Conference, Jon Brady was dropped back to the bench after two sucessive 5-0 losses but was a late sub as Cambridge drew 1-1 with Crawley. Exeter again chose forward Richard Logan to come off the bench rather than Adam Stansfield and the choice was justified as Logan scored the only goal to beat Morecambe. Tony James not only saw his Weymouth side keep their first clean sheet in 15 games, but also saw his goalkeeper score in the 89th minute for the only goal as they beat Southport. Daryl Taylor scored again for Tamworth as they beat Halifax 1-0.
