Graham Turner has commented on the month long loan of Stuart Fleetwood to Accrington Stanley.
"We've got five senior strikers and Stuart had an illness before Christmas that left him a little bit weak," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"He has now recovered his weight, he lost nearly a stone. We just feel he needs some games."
Turner said his decision to loan out Fleetwood was based on giving the player some games.
The Hereford United manager has also spoken about Steve Jennings whose loan at Edgar Street has been extended for the rest of the season. He thinks Jennings will suit Hereford's type of play.
"We've got to pass the ball and Steve's comfortable on the ball so I think he will add a lot between now and the end of the season."
