Hereford United have reacted swiftly to a few complaints from Stockport supporters over damage to a clothing said to have happened at Edgar Street last Saturday.
One supporter suggested that he had found 'paint' on a new jacket after leaning on the bars/posts in the away end.
Contact was made with the Hereford United secretary Joan Fennessey who was said to be very apologetic and told the supporter to e-mail his cleaning bill.
Mrs Fennessey said that some painting work had taken place place last Thursday. Due to the frost the paint hadn't dried fully and a number of people had been affected by it.
