A former Hereford United player is to join the Inside Arsenal team (www.insidearsenal.co.uk) as their chief columnist.
Ken Jones, who was born in Merthyr, played for Hereford fifty years ago. Formerly he was with Southend, then Swansea before moving to Edgar Street.
However whilst with Hereford his career was tragically cut short by a serious leg injury in the 57/58 season. He was only 27 at the time.
He then joined the Daily Mirror and became a 'well-respected and award-winning writer'. More recently he was with the Independent.
