Chester pitch playable at present

Chester City are still hopeful that the game tomorrow will go ahead.

Although soft the Deva pitch is playable as at mid-morning today. Currently there is a mixture of rain and sleet falling on the ground.

The referee, Lee Probert, is expected at Chester this afternoon. Hopefully an update will be issued after he has looked at the pitch.
