More To Come?

With two midfielders already signed up, more comings and goings are expected in the next few days.

With less than seven days now left of the transfer window several names are being linked to the club, along with others expected to depart.

Ex-Bull Steve Guinan is believed to be mulling over offers from several League Two and Conference clubs and has already held talks with Exeter but is wary of the distance from his Cheltenham home.

Walsall's James Constable has also been linked to the Bulls in recent days. The 22 year old striker has scored nine times in a two month loan spell at Kidderminster, making them serious play-off contenders, and Walsall have received offers for his permanent services with boss Richard Money considering the forward's future.

The first to depart could be midfielder Jon Wallis, who is believed to be on trial at Dagenham. The former Gillingham man has failed to settle in the area and, despite wanting to make an impression at Edgar Street, is believed to be out of Graham Turner's plans for the season.

Rumours also persist about the future whereabouts of defender Tamika Mkandawire and forward Andy Williams. Bristol Rovers are said to still be keen on Williams but are yet to meet Turner's valuation of the player, while Mkandawire has had a string of suitors but neither the player nor his agent have been informed about any bids.

And, with a lack of first team opportunities, it may be worthwhile for Turner to seek loan deals for young trio Jordan Fitzpatrick, Sam Gwynne, and Marcus Palmer. None have made an impression on the first team and, with no regular reserve team, it would likely benefit both the players and the club for them to get regular games at this stage of the season.
