Hereford United captain, Tamika Mkandawire, is set to see a specialist in Manchester today according to the Hereford Times.
"There are some thoughts that it could be a hernia but that does not necessarily rule him out of playing at Bristol," said Graham Turner.
The Hereford United manager also told the paper that Dean Beckwith has returned to training.
Beckwith missed Monday's game at Wycombe with a virus.
