The Sun newspaper has today latched onto the story that was doing the rounds last Autumn about Hereford United being interested in Dave Martin. They say Crystal Palace are favourites to sign the 19 year-old winger.

Dartford player linked with Hereford United
Dave Martin, a winger with Dartford Football Club, has been linked with Hereford United according to press reports from London.
It is understood that Martin, described as a 'lightening-quick winger', is currently on trial at Millwall.
"At this moment in time two league clubs have approached me regarding Dave Martin and both would like to take Dave for a weeks training," said a Dartford spokeman.
"Dave started training with one of these clubs (last Friday - beleived to be Milwall) and I want to stress to everybody that at this stage it is only a weeks training and nothing more."
Martin joined Dartford from local club Slade Green in summer 2005.
LATER: Martin played for Milwall Reserves this afternoon.
