Paul Sturrock is set to take over at Swindon according to the League Paper.
He watched yesterday's game at the County Ground where the Robins were defeated by the Bulls.
Sturrock, who helped Plymouth win two promotions, is beleived to have agreed compensation with Sheffield Wednesday of around £200,000 and will start work tomorrow.
