Aldershot have been gazumped by Notts County in their bid to sign striker Jason Lee.
The Shots had announced the signing of Lee, 35, from Northampton more than two weeks ago however Notts County have today announced they have signed him on a two year deal - one of five players to join them today.
County have also signed Aldershot defender Matt Somner on a two year deal after the player declined a contract offer at the Recreation Ground. Boston striker Lawrie Dudfield, defender Alan White, and youth team prospect Bobby Wilson have also been signed on.
