We are 90 minutes away says Turner

Graham Turner has told the Non-League Paper that the Bulls are ready to return to the Football League.

"We have worked for nine years to get our League status back and now we are 90 minutes away from doing it," said the Hereford United manager in an article written by George Sawkins.

"We know Halifax are a decent side and they are not in the final by accident, but we have given ourselves the chance.

"You need a slice of luck when you get to this stage of the season at whatever level you play.

"Maybe we haven't had that over the last two seasons but if we had it in our semi-final against Morecambe then we certainly had to work for it."

Jamie Pitman also spoke to the paper.

"I am so ecstatic for everyone at our club. We know it's not over yet and we have to prepare right for next Saturday, which we will do, but we're just looking to it now.

"It's been a long time coming and let's hope it works out for us now."

Meanwhile Sammy McIlroy, the Morecambe manager, has suggested that Hereford's name may be on the Trophy.

"They have had a couple of set-backs and maybe this is their year.

"They are a good footballing side and have fantastic support as well.

"I wish them all the best."
