Nicky Nicolau has returned to Swindon. The on-loan midfielder has been suffering from injury problems whilst at Edgar Street and hasn't been able to feature often for the Bulls.
He will be remembered for a great goal against Accrington.
"I really enjoyed my time at Hereford and it was good to be playing week in, week out. I was doing well there before I suffered an ankle ligaments injury," Nicolau told the Western Daily Press.
"I tried to come back but the ankle wasn't 100 per cent. I could have stayed for the play-offs but the ankle isn't right and I don't think I would have done myself any justice.
"It was a hard decision to make but I had to take it for my own career."
The WDP says that it is not impossible Turner might offer Nicolau a deal to return to Edgar Street next season, but the defender is keen to stay in the Football League.
"I feel I am good enough to play in the league and I don't want to drop out too soon really, " he said. "It has been a bad year for me but now I have to look at starting again somewhere else."
Meanwhile three players, Andy Williams, Andy Ferrell and Alex Jeannin, missed training on Tuesday with minor knocks according to the Hereford Times. However Graham Turner says they should be fit for Sunday's game at Morecambe.
However Tony James is expected to miss out again.
"It is going to be touch and go whether i can be involved," said James.
"It has been disappointing and I have had a troublesome time since Christmas - it is very frustrating but I shall be cheering everyone else on even if I am not playing."
