Talking to the Non-League Paper after yesterday's match, Hereford United manager Graham Turner admitted he was unhappy with the result.
"The bottom line is that we didn't play well enough to take the three points.
"Dagenham made things very difficult with the way they set up, showing little ambition going forward.
"But we didn't play well, we had enpugh possession in wide positions to have created things and a lot of set-pieces we should have done something with.
"In our last two matches, we have hit a real flat spot where we haven't looked very sharp. We know it is obviously something that we have to put right.
"I didn't think there was much doubt about our penalty, but I couldn't see too much contact for theirs."
Meanwhile Dagenham assistant manager Robbie Garvey was said to be pleased with their point.
"Anwar (Uddin who once played for Hereford) could not have done much about their penalty - their fellow volleyed the ball at him from a yard.
"Hereford are a good side and it was probably a fair result."
