Scarboro have been warned by the Conference that they face automatic relegation unless they exit Administration by May 31st.
Under Conference rules, which mirror the Football League, a club will be relegated if they remain under Administration for a second sucessive AGM - but Scarboro officials claim that, if needed, they could exit Administration 'in a matter of days'.
Talking to BBC Sport, Chairman Malcolm Reynolds said: "We are in a position where, first and foremost, we as a football team need to stay in the league. If that is the case then in terms of complying with the ruling I have been told that we are in a position to sort it out in a matter of days."
A number of clubs have been forced out of the Conference in the last two years for a number of reasons. Northwich opted to 'accept relegation' rather than being pushed due to ground and ownership issues. Margate also chose relegation after being left without a home ground up to standard, and Telford disbanded after their parent company folded.
