Hereford United need another eight points to be certain of a play-off place.

The match at Christie Park, one of the more exciting of the season, was watched by about 80 Hereford United fans. Both teams had their chances and a draw was probably the right result. However some supporters thought the referee favoured Hereford's opponents as he failed to card several of their players for what looked to be unfair challenges. The stats showed 24 fouls committed by Morecambe and only 5 by Hereford

Graham Turner opted to start Danny Carey-Bertram and Adam Stansfield up front, leaving both Andy Williams and Stuart Fleetwood on the bench. However both Williams and Fleetwood came on in the second half replacing Stansfield and Taylor. Williams played on the wing.

Simon Travis also made a short return to the side replacing Ryan Green, who looked to have picked up a knock, late in the game.

But there was no sign of either Stacy Coldicott or Guy Ipoua.
