Southport will be without on loan central defender Mark Roberts after his dismissal at the weekend, but are likely to otherwise be unchanged. Fellow defenders Jerome Fitzgerald and Earl Davis are both back from suspension and one will replace Roberts.
The Bulls may face a defensive crisis tonight with Dean Beckwith rated doubtful and Tony James not yet match fit. Alex Jeannin, back from suspension, may have to cover in the centre of defence if neither Beckwith or James are considered fit enough however, with Rob Purdie also doubtful and Simon Travis not expected to be fit until next week, Jeannin will be required in his more usual full back role. Andy Ferrell, who played full back in pre-season, may drop back and allow Stacy Coldicott, who has returned from his loan at Cambridge, to start in midfield. Adam Stansfield, who the club are weighing up the idea of getting a mask to allow a quicker return, and Guy Ipoua, who received an injection for his achilles problem, are both still out, while Jamie Pitman may make the bench but is not considered match fit. Daryl Taylor sits out another game suspended so Robbie King will continue in an unfamilar wide role but fellow work experience player Matthew Halliday played for Norwich reserves last night and is unlikely to feature.
Match Odds (bet365): Southport 7/2, Draw 12/5, Bulls 4/6.
