Preview: Southport vs Bulls

A game that danced around the fixture list has finally found a home this Tuesday. Four different dates were announced, then retracted, then re-announced for this seemingly one-sided match-up.

The Bulls go into Tuesday 14 matches unbeaten, having scored in every away Conference match since September. Bottom side Southport, aside from an unlikely double over Stevenage, have only beaten sides in the bottom half, and have only 14 points out of 42 at home - conceding an average of two goals a game.

Southport are the only side the Bulls are yet to play this season, with the return fixture being the final home match of the season. Eight of the twelve Conference matches between these two sides have been drawn, with the Bulls leaving Haig Avenue with at least a point on every occasion.

One face familiar to Bulls fans will be full back Chris Lane but this is one player that doesn't hold a curse on the Bulls, having lost in each of his last five matches against the Bulls.
