Nicky Nicolau, currently on loan at Hereford United from Swindon Town, has hinted his future may lay away from the County Ground.
Before moving to Edgar Street, Nicolau who joined Swindon from Southend in the summer had only featured four times this season after suffering numorous set backs.
"I feel fully fit again and that's a big factor," Nicolau told the Swindon press.
"It's going well, I'm enjoying it and I think it's very beneficial."
Swindon manager, Iffy Onuora, recently came to watch him at Hereford.
"I know the gaffer came to see a game and this is about me proving myself.
"I wasn't really getting much involvement at Swindon, even in the 16, and I think the gaffer felt there were people in front of me, but you never rule anything out.
"Hopefully I can help Hereford get promotion to the Football League, that would be a second promotion for me in the space of two seasons (having secured play-off success with Southend last season).
"We're going well and the boys are confident.
"If I start afresh at Swindon after that then okay, if I'm not in the plans then you know there are other people watching these games. It's just great to be playing though. When you're just working with the physio and not fully involved it can be difficult. It gets to the stage where you can start to wish the season was over.
"Not now though and I want to finish the season really positive."
Nicolau has quickly established himself in the team at Hereford and scored a goal last Saturday against Accrington Stanley.
