Confidence grows for play-off place

Although Hereford United are thirteen points behind leaders Accrington Stanley, Graham Turner seems confident that the Bulls will be in the play-offs.

The Bulls lie in second place in the Conference, some eight points ahead of fifth-placed Stevenage and with a game in hand over them as well.

"We look now a good bet for the play-offs and it will take something like a catastropic disaster for Accrington to be caught," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester this morning.

"We still feel they might slip up at Stevenage this weekend. They've got to go to Southport next Tuesday.

"If they start to drop one or two points who knows."
