Exeter (8th) have it all to do to get back into the play-offs. Their 2-0 defeat at Halifax (3rd) means they have won just 10 points from the 11 games since Xmas. York (4th) beat Gravesend 1-0, and Morecambe (5th) beat Kidderminster 2-0. Woking, who require a minor miracle to get in the play-offs, drew 2-2 at Grays (6th), while Stevenage were another side to sacrifice a 2-0 lead, losing 3-2 at home to Burton. Aldershot beat Dagenham 3-1 to move above the Daggers.
Down the bottom, Southport picked up a win - 2-1 at Forest Green but had a man sent off late on. Crawley jumped out of the relegation places and above Scarboro after beating them 2-0. Tamworth got a 1-1 draw with Cambridge, but slipped into the relegation places. Stacy Coldicott played no part for Cambridge. Lee Boylan, playing his first subs appearance since his fractured cheekbone in mid-December, popped up in the last minute to give Canvey a 1-0 win over Altrincham.
Today's results leave the Bulls still in second place, still 16 points behind Accrington, but a comfortable eight points inside the play-off zone.
